MAY 2012

MEN'S MEETING, MAY 1ST
The men will have their monthly meeting and Bible study on Tuesday, May 1st, at 7 pm. This will be our last meeting until September. All men are invited.

WEDNESDAY DINNER, MAY 2ND
We will be having our monthly church dinner on Wednesday, May 2nd, at 6pm. The menu will be Mexican. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer. Everyone is invited.

MOTHER'S DAY, MAY 13TH
Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 13th, this year. We will be honoring our mothers and grandmothers. There will be no evening services that day.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY BEGINS MAY 15TH
We will begin a 13 week financial series put out by Dave Ramsey on Tuesday evening May 15th, at 6:30 pm. The cost is $85 per family to cover the cost of resources and membership into Financial Peace University. This is a great program to help families take charge of their finances and become better stewards for the Lord. Money for the class is due by Sunday, May 13th. If you would like to sign-up but are not sure you can afford the tuition, please see Paul. We want everyone who can to benefit from this important program.

TEACHER’S CLASS OFFERED MAY 19TH
Paul will be leading a class on basic methods and principles of being a teacher. If you would like to teach, but are not sure how to do so, this class will help you. It will also help those who are already teachers. The church will provide a meat tray for supper. The class will begin at 6 pm at the church.

WOMEN OF THE WORD MAY 24TH
The ladies will have their monthly Bible study on Thursday, May 24th at 7 pm. The study will be on Dorcas (Acts 9:36-43), and will be at the home of Diane Woods.

CSI MINI GOLF OUTING MAY 25TH
The teens will play a round of mini golf on Friday, May 25th. We will meet at the church at 6 pm. Information on the cost will follow later.
